A Tribute to Comedy

With all of due respect to everyone comedians everywhere, the highest comedians in recent history shall no longer be along with us, apart from Jerry Lewis at this moment. Comedy today is different than it was yesteryear. Many comedians today have to stretch so far they use language which should 't be employed in public. Yesterday's comedians did not have to resort to that, these were just naturally funny. Ahead of the advent of film and radio, there are probably comedians that have been laugh your brain off funny, but we cannot be familiar with. Even though they were in silent films, we all know that Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Roscoe "Fatty "Arbuckle, and Buster Keaton were the very best comedians of their day. We can easily watch many of the old films and laugh because it was actually funny.

We owe it to ourselves and our children and grandchildren to maintain the laughter alive, along with the memories from the funniest in the funniest. Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin were the very best entertainers of the day after they had people to fall out of their chairs. And talking about Martin and Lewis, what actually transpired to everyone in the great comedy teams? Unfortunately, there aren't any more comedy teams around. The first choice for hope and need that folks all over the united states are telling their children about Abbott and Costello. All the young baseball players should a minimum of be familiar with "Who's on First?" A few Stooges will not walk out of style. Does anyone remember fondly the Curly shuffle? (Please Google this right now, and I dare you not to experience a wide smile.) When I was becoming an adult, everyone knew who Laurel and Hardy were, but they were before my own time. The amount of people today learn about this classic comedy team, and another fine mess they were given into. Watch them online, these are hysterical.

Wheeler and Woolsey were another comedy team, less well-known, but worth many laughs. The Marx Brothers were a comedy team that was unique, as much as they were funny. Harpo was one of several funniest people ever, rather than spoke anything. He would be a simpleton who seemed brilliant. Groucho is a character who I do think won't walk out style. As a team, these folks were amazing. Burns and Allen weren't merely a great comedy team; we were holding another loving husband and wife. George Burns and Gracie Allen might not exactly share the same surname, nonetheless they shared a real love for one another which is legendary. Lucy and Ricky were the married couple we loved to look at on I really like Lucy, but Lucy and Ethel were the comedy duo that have the laugh meter sounding the charts. With that in mind, Lucille Ball is, and try to will be the funniest female comedian ever.

There are a few who make us laugh, and here are a few more: Milton Berle, Red Skelton, Woody Allen, and Bob Hope. For most individuals, the tiny Rascals was obviously a portion of our childhood. Most people do not know that it was filmed on a single studio lot as Laurel and Hardy. I still love watching the old "Blondie" movies. Joe E. Brown stood a great title for his autobiography, Laughter is a Wonderful Thing."
